Body parts of ‘missing’ WW2 hero pilot are found embedded in a TREE 70 years after he crashed and died in Germany

THE remains of a WWII pilot have been discovered in a tree more than 70 after he crashed and died while flying a mission in Germany during the war.

The bones of William J. Gray Jr. were found embedded in tree roots in Lindau, a quiet town on the southeast border of country, by investigators.
